About WhiskrKit

WhiskrKit is a privacy-first, EU-hosted feedback toolkit for mobile apps. It is built and operated by an independent iOS developer in the Netherlands, and designed to fit the apps it lives in rather than interrupt them.

What we do

WhiskrKit helps mobile developers collect in-app feedback through beautiful, native surveys. The SDK is lightweight, the dashboard is straightforward, and the entire stack is EU-hosted with privacy as a starting point rather than an afterthought.

We focus on three things: making surveys that feel like part of your app, giving developers honest control over targeting and timing, and handling data responsibly under European rules.

Why WhiskrKit exists

Most in-app feedback tools were built for the web first and bolted onto mobile later. They feel out of place, ship enormous SDKs, ask for more data than they need, and route everything through US-based analytics pipelines.

WhiskrKit started from a different position: an iOS developer wanting to ask his own users a single, well-timed question without dragging in a tracking SDK to do it. The toolkit grew out of that itch, dogfooded inside shipping apps such as Intercity and Pomodoreau, and shaped by what those real users responded to.

Who builds it

WhiskrKit is built by Dennis Vermeulen, an iOS developer based in the Netherlands. It is operated as a trade name of a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under KVK nr. 42076474.

Being a one-person company is deliberate. It keeps the product focused, the roadmap honest, and the lines of communication short: when you email us, you reach the person writing the code.

What we believe

  • Privacy is a default, not a feature. No tracking cookies, no advertising identifiers, no profiling. We collect what we need to deliver surveys correctly, and nothing else.
  • EU-hosted, end to end. All data sits on servers in Germany. Sub-processors are listed openly in our privacy policy.
  • Accessibility from day one. Surveys are built to work with system text sizing, contrast settings, and assistive technologies, not retrofitted later.
  • SDK code in the open. The mobile SDK is released under the MIT licence, so you can read every line of what runs inside your app.
  • Plain language over legalese. Our terms and policies are written to be read.

Where we are today

WhiskrKit is in closed beta. We are working with a small group of developers to refine the SDK, the targeting engine, and the dashboard before opening up more widely. If you would like to try WhiskrKit in your own app, or simply follow along, the easiest place to start is the home page or the blog, where we write about the why and the how behind in-app surveys.
